The Magellan 9900i retains the low-bezel design of the 9800i for compact self-checkout terminals, with a 2D LED imager and automatic recognition of all common retail barcodes (EAN/UPC, Code 128, GS1 DataBar families, PDF417). It adds wired Ethernet connectivity and more energy-efficient electronics.
Launched alongside the 9600i as the new generation Magellan, the 9900i shares ScaleSentry building blocks and AllWeighs platters for anti-markup, with an architecture ready to accommodate future embedded AI features from Datalogic.
